I just picked up a 1st gen GSX for dirt cheap becuase of a vacuun hose problem, the previous owner knows nothing about DSM's he just bought it and did an engine swap. The engine is a Cyclone engine. It;s the good one, NOT the cheap dual runner one. Anyways it's not blowing off. The stock blow-off valve sputters. Completely stock it will sputter loud. I though the blow-off was broken I replaced it with a Greddy one, and it makes the exact same noise. I look at my other GST and the the place for hose are completely different. The hose that comes from the top of the BOV, is going to a T to the water pump or something then into the top nipple furtherest from the front close to the throttle body opening. weird. A buddy has a first gen and his BOV vacuum hose goes to a nipple under the center of the trottle body. I did the free mods an noticed very little perfomance gain as well.. There's no fuel being fed to the car it's seems like.. It is a freakin gas saver, I put a boost controller on there and it hits fuel cut aat 13 psi, and still got great gas mileage. Something is up. There is no check engine light, but it does work.. On the top right of the engine bay, there's solenoids. One is missing, I have no idea if that a Cyclone thing. I thought it said that one was only for exhuast or soemthing anyway.. I think the hoses to the stock fuel pressure regulator are correct... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!.. Maybe I could be wrong, but when you add them all up, I think I'm right about it being a vacuum hose problem. Which ones should I check? OK.. so.. recap The car does Blow-off, it sputters even with a new BOV, and it seems like no fuel is being fed. When I first start it and the car is cold I feel a world of a difference it will shoot up to 15 psi, for 1 minute, becuase doesn't the car feed fuel to warm the car up when it's cold... Anyways Help... E-mail me at [email protected] or reply to the thread. Also.. (909)906-5879 Riverside California... Thanks ,JOE

sounds like an electrical connector/ sensor problem. are all the sonsors connected all the way to the eCU? CTS, O2, TPS, MAF, TPS, etc. if all these aren't being monitored by the ECU it can and will cause driveability problems like youar e describing. run a vac hose straight from the intake mani. to the BOV. T into that and run into your boost controller. idon't know what that is all about with the water pump.......are you sure what you are looking at?
