Alright, I made a semi-custom sub box. Basically just cut the wood to the same shape as the carpet, removed the spare, cut some metal out and laid it in there. Problem is now, my subs cant run free air, and the windshield washer jug is in the way of me sealing the subs off. What I wanted to know is, those guys with sub boxes like mine, did you just remove the windshield washer jug completely, reposition it, or build a box around it to seal? I need help here, I can't turn my gain up more then 1/4 w/out them sounding like shit (I've had them in a sealed box before and they are nice sounding).

IMO, just remove the washer jug. I mean really, how many times have you used the rear squirter? I never use mine, so i pulled the bottle and plan on shaving the squirter and washer arm in the near future.

i agree i mean if you really really want to keep the washer jug then you can try and relocate it somewhere else...as for the sub box. i've seen plenty of people make the hatch floor area there sub box.
