I am gonna add my .02 here, for the amount of money that you guys just spend on that rear brake set-up, why didn't you just do the wilwood brake up grade? Anywho, if those cars are track cars only, think about adding an adjustable brake proportioning valve, this would allow you to fine tone your brakes at the track. I have my brake lines reversed at the master, so i have more rear-brake than front, allowing me to out corner other people. Looks good though! :thumb:

You're correct that the forward shift in CG would result in oversteer, however (at least this is what I was taught) since you will generally be braking heading into a turn you want oversteer and certainly not understeer. How the center of gravity shifts is that when you brake hard, the front suspension compresses, lowering the nose of the car which results in the CG moving.

it allows me to brake and corner, with-out worring about locking up my fronts. My rear tires will lock before my front.... it sounds odd, but it helps to keep the oversteer down, and the car more "neutral". when people are skidding off onto the grass, i am cornering under-control. and yes, if i get to happy on the brakes when i corner, it does get side-ways but just reminds me to keep my lines. We also run this same set-up in our dirt oval car.. works even better on dirt.

I try different stuff often when theres a problem, or a concern. Currently im out braking all the porsches and vett's at the events so im just working on driving now, keeping the car reliable and not changing anything. Cars in storage till next year, nothing against todd because he sells the 'woods but i and others just are not happy currently with wilwoods progress in terms of calipers. There such a great company and ive used there products and im currently using there rotors on the rear but they need to invest some more research money into calipers. Im not looking to argue with anyone, i just hope wilwood steps up a little in the coming years. 10 years ago everything was wilwood now everyone is changing and if they dont do some more r&d i fear they will go under. The sponsorships for nascar and many other events has gone down more and more every year.

Theres still many many people running the woods and luving them, i thought i would try something different with this car and im happy with it. Im looking at a little more reliable car for the track events, i will be keeping the eclipse for next years racing. I hope to buy a >2002 NSX supercharge it and have a little more reliable car for racing. The eclipse is a great 550AWHP monster for the street and the seldom high boost run to 100MPH racing a viper, but for actually racing i find overheating to much of an issue at the HP levels im needing to run to keep up to the new vette, porsches and NSX's.
