Current Seattle area Dsm Meet

So yeah the last post for a seattle meet is like a year old so i'm posting a new one. So i moved from an area with lots of dsms and now that i live in Bellevue they're kinda rare. With that in mind i'd like to have a dsm meet/ cruise sometime in may on sunday so everyone doesn't have to work. It would be nice to hangout maybe bbq shoot the shit and then a cruise. Sound good to anyone, also i'll be giving discounts on parts to anyone that shows up so let me know.

yeah give me some time to get my car back together.......thats usually the problem with DSM's around the NW there's a lot of them, fast ones too, its just we're always breaking them or tinkering or whatever.

I'd definatly be down for one on a sunday since I work monday-saturday. Keep me posted when someone chooses a date for the next meet, I just got into DSM's/Own my first DSM and so far I have not met another person (aside from forums) who owns one.

I keep trying to go to these meets, but every time I have something come up. I just need to get some tires on mine, then I can go. Any recommendations on tires, PM me. Although, somehow my DSM is turning into a "ricer" My brother, (we have to share it) wants more looks than performance... Well, I hope I can come out sometime.

seems like everyone in here posts from washington, there are some sick places down here that a cruise would be great this summer... sounds kina ### but i did an mx-5 cruise on the old highway in to eastern oregon and its 20 to 50 the whole way and awesome scenery... i just jumped into dsm's i had a 95 na but i am pickin up my gst this weekend..

my brother has a completely stock tiburon with toyo proxes 4 on the front and they stick like crazy if you want some good tires. He has the same tires as mine in the back (hankook ventus) which I am really liking but the toyo have a lot more grip. Also if you wanna save some money Kumho Ecsta's are pretty good and they are alot cheaper than most. good luck

Yah I was thinking about the Proxes, but the price is a little higher than I want to pay. Anywayz, we need more meets up here, so that someday I might be free.

I forgot the name exactly, but dunlp is supposed to have a pretty sticky tire for only about 75bucks each, all word of mouth though, but thats according to an 10sec dsmer.

damn im down as well, as long as i can also stop the oil from waterfalling from my engine. I have owned my gst for 2 and 1/2 months and have only been able to put 60 miles on it so i would love a good long drive...

I forgot the name exactly, but dunlp is supposed to have a pretty sticky tire for only about 75bucks each, all word of mouth though, but thats according to an 10sec dsmer.

Not sure if I have that same tire, but I do have cheap dunlops... at least i'm pretty sure they are dunlops. All they say on them is Raptor, and also "Riken" by the size of the tire. Cost me about $85 a piece. They grab really well. Not that I put a lot of power to the ground, but I can only lose these tires if it's the ground is wet.

i pulled up to a mustang gt the other day.
i revved a little at him [been wanting to mess with one ]
and he looked at my car, laughed and then we raced.
i smashed on him
made him feel like an idiot
and judging by your mods, if that Z32 didnt have a grip of mods he would have gotten beat.
those cars weigh like 10 million pounds.
so look at the difference with the power to weight ratio

I for sure would have owned him, i have beat other z32s with mods, when i spooled away i shifted and threw a flame i hope he saw it

in colorado you see a first gen with a fmic and you know what the F*&^ is up, here people have no idea

Ya DSM's definatly don't get the respect they deserve here. I like it though, makes it that much better when you have a good kill. This rich kid at my school just got a cobalt ss supercharged (he knows nothing about cars), he goes "wanna race?" I said sure and then he said "haha, I've got a supercharger, you don't wanna race me". Shortly after the lights changed and he was about 3 cars back as I got out of second. : )
