Sweeeeeeeeeet!! New project for the weekend! Any helpfull tips or tricks will be greatly apriciated. Any specific tests i should do to make sure that the sensor is bad before going through with this?

Justa quick question but why would you go that far and do all that labor and get all the way down to the timing belt and not change it personally id change it anyway unless I know its been done in the las couple thousand miles or so. Its a lot work to get down there and only takes a few more steps to do the timing belt as well. Just my opinion whether you "have to" or not. Hate to have it break and cause a whole different set of problems. Good luck!!!!!!

Well you could check the CPS voltage shown here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...art-no-fuel-prime-no-spark.html#post151265626

Also here's a writeup on changing the CPS: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/366381-how-remove-crank-sensor-car.html#post152248355. Note: On his 5th and 9th steps he means the water pump PULLEY bolts (not the water pump bolts).

Good point, but the belt has been recently replaced.
