cracked injector tips

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if a cracked injector tip would effect the function of the fuel injector. I have a set of blue tops and I noticed on one of them that the black plastic tip surrounding the pintle is cracked. And was wondering if this could cause the injector to function improperly. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Oh yeah the reason i ask is because Im selling them. And I dont want to unknowingly sell a defective item. Thanks again.

They're called pintle caps. The places that clean and flow test injectors can replace them.

The honda guys that use them say they work fine with or without the pintle caps.
