hey guys! i have the chance to buy a 95 eclipse n/t for 1500. is it worth it? it's at the local dealership. some chicks took it for a test drive, and they think they snapped the t-belt.

so i would need a new head, and belt. should i bother with it?

I'd definately pick that up for that price. More than likely you won't need an entire new head, but it definately will require quite a bit of work (bent valves,etc...) Buy it and turn it into a project car!! :thumb:

thanks defiant. i checked it out on kbb, and it gives a price from 1090(pp) to 4500 msrp. so the car would be worth picking up. ;)

what is the average bill after somebodys t-belt goes? valves or a junkyard head?
how much time would you estimate it would take to fix? i'll probably do it myself, i'm still a novice under the hood,(i take my time to get it right).
