1) This has gone way off topic.
2) You assuming that whoever buys the turbo won't know their ass from a hole in the ground.
3) You are trying to justify the 'badness' of BB turbos because you need to run better oil and that's 'expensive'? WTF.

The same argument you are trying to make tells me that no one should run a built motor because it requires knowing what the hell you are doing when it comes down to maintenance. If I am dropping 1500 on a turbo, damn skippy I know what I need to do to get the max life and performance out of my turbo. Oh and the oil filter inline with the turbo oil feed, I take apart and clean mine every oil change. How much more work is that really? Very little.

If you want to continue discussing the pro's and con's of BB turbos, make a new thread. Stop clogging up this one.

You are right! This is way off topic. I never said bb turbo were BAD. They have many benifits, i just gave my opinion on why i thought there were not the best choice for a daily driver. He asked an opinion on bb turbo. I gave mine. You have yours. I thought he might benifit by not dumping $1500 on it. Maybe he should buy it, i dont know. Going back to his Question, Yes you can use a bb turbo on a motor with 150 across the board. Lets get on with the rest of the original topic.

I'll post a new thread on this one. I've been using nothing but synthetic since I bought my car in "96. I'd like to think I have the kind experience it takes to maintain a bb turbo and tune it without any problems.
Back to the real subject... I was satisfied with my compression results, but who knows what lay ahead for me.
