today i just put my new VDO BG in the vent and then got gas and went for a drive and to my amazment im only pushing 9lbs of boost but never mind that. as i was turning into my driveway i pushed in the clutch and started slowing down and the car wanted to stall so i gave it gas and made it up the driveway and found i cant get into anygears cause the clutch is stuck in theres plenty of fluid and the slave cylinder is new and works and the peddle feel kinda normal other then being kinda soft and i cant figer out why this would happen. any help??

Ok, let's see. What you mean is you can't get it into gear with the engine running, but when the engine is off, it goes into gear? If that's the case, and you don't have any leaks, try bleeding it. I can tell you how if you need. If that doesn't work and you can't find anything else wrong, it could be your master cylinder. If it were a slave, it would have a leak that you could see.

Let us know

Good Luck

You may have air trapped in the system that isn't allowing the clutch to disengage. As a rule of thumb, bleed the entire system and refill with fresh fluid. While you're down there, you may want to check the engagement point and adjust it if necessary. In case you haven't adjusted it before, this guide from RRE should help.

okay ill see what i can do also when i was putting the new clutch on when i had the engine out to rebuild it i snapped one of the bolts when torqueing them could the be any problem??

well i went bacl out and the cylinders are working correctly so i pulled the boot off of the clutch fork and 4-5 pieces of rice shaped clutch fell out and some dust is that bad? also i cand push the slave cylinder in and the fork is totally loose and i can move the bearing away from the PP and i can see the plate is flat which means its stuck so i think im gonna need to take the trans out.(damn) i only got 123miles on it that sucks.

That sucks my friend. A similar thing happened to me last year in my camaro. I was just driving down the street, pushed the clutch in to turn in a driveway and the damn thing wouldn't dis-engage. When I pulled it apart one of the springs had popped out of the clutch disc and became wedged between the pressure plate and clutch disc. I was lucky it didn't damage my tranny or flywheel. That was an oem clutch with around 55,000-60,000 miles on it. Pull it apart and let us know what happend, good luck. :thumb:
