Well i let my 13 year old (cough) i mean my 16 year old brother try and drive my car!!!ROFL Oh man. His first try he did a Godly launch for a fwd. I was amazed!!! After that i took him out to our local airport and let him try driving a little more. He stalled a bit and peeled out a few times with the occasional jerking and dying. But overall not bad. My question is after he drove it i got back in and the clutch pedal was a lot more resistant when i pushed it in. Is this normal? It made the clutch actually feel better and i enjoyed driving it more.

i had a similar problem in my 95. clutch got stiff, kept blowing slave and master cylinders. turned out the pressure plate was toast, along with the throwout bearing.

Well the pressures normal now and i did have new slave and master cylinders put in and the pressure plate is fairly new. Did yours make any noises afterwards. I hear a light high pitched squeak every once in a while when i accelerate out of first...no other noises in any other gears.

Mine does the opposite of this. If I push my car alittle my clutch seems to get easier to push in and gears seem to get smoother for awhile, then everything gets back to normal by the next day.
But, just a couple days ago i was racing my friend and I grinded 3rd :Ouch!: and after my clutch was once again was easy to push in and went back to normal. But the thing that's got me is that the clutch engages a tad higher up in the throw and 1st gear sometimes won't go in at a stop. I have to let out the clutch then put it back in, or slip the clutch and it will fall in. (Just like the Reverse thing sometimes)

Sorry for hijacking the thread.
Any thoughts?
