So my friend has a 91 AWD TSi we have been trying to get the clutch to stop dragging.
So far we have tried a totally new oem hydraulic system with braided lines, a new clutch pedal assembly, and even went as far as to make a starter plate to start the car with the transmission off.
The clutch and flywheel he purchased is the Quarter Master.
We have tried other things as well, such as measuring the travel of the pressure plate to make sure the fork has the proper travel. We have tried with and with out several sizes of shims as well. We have also properly adjusted the master push rod as well.
Literally the only thing I can think of that we haven't tried is a extended slave rod.
No matter what we do it drags.
Any ideas?
