In Europe the GS came with a non turbo 4G63. But I don't think any of those will show up in USA. Nobody would go through the hassle of importing a GS. Here is a pic of one it's a 1G but anyways.

All 1g's in the US had the 4g63, turbo or not. It was the 2g's that had the 420a in the N'Ts. I think the only special things that we didn't get were the N/T AWD's, and the targa 1g's.

No, He's is correct. There was a 4g63 n/t 2g. Like he had said though, It wasent for the u.s. I've read a thread about it and also seen a picture of one in the gallery.

i can get my money out of this car no problem i paid $3800 i can sell it right now for $4000 to this one guy and i had a guy blue book it for me he says $5000 but i dunno but if i want to sell it i can get 200 extra out of it. so if it is to much of a prob i can sell it.

I have a little news flash for you. You cant sell a motor with rod knock for more than $500. So I dont know how you think you are going to come out ahead in this situation...unless you are lucky enough to stumble across someone dumber than you were that you could sell the car to.

Looks can get you in actually more trouble than the actual speed. Thats like hanging a steak in front of a dog, you know hes gonna bite it. Cops love to see young kids cruising in their fancy cars, gives them all the reason more to pull them over and see whats going on. Doesnt mean youll get a ticket but does mean lots of time pulled over on the side of the road.

In my neck of the woods, any car gets pulled over when your out past 1am, even my rickety looking POS. (Unfortunately they all caught on to whats under the hood,damn I swear my car gets followed so much, seriously. Btw im 20). If you are young and out in a car, your gonna get pulled over, they don't care what your car looks like. Highschool kids look like easy kills, and are easily intimidated by cops (even rookie cops) so expect to get pulled over a lot no matter what you drive.

WOW you bought a car that you have no idea about! Well man the 4g63 motor comes with a turbo and the 420a is naturally aspirated..You will find the 420a in a dodge neon. Like everyone said there is no way that car is a 4g63 engine. Look and do some reasearch on this site. Check the tuning guide go check out some galleries and you will see what a 4g63 is. The tranny looks like it was just powdercoated blue or something.

'sue him! sue him!' no but really, you bought the car on the grounds that it was a 4g63, and relied on the information. if he did all that work to it, he KNOWS its not, and you got jipped for buying it. if you go about it right, you can get the money back that you lost thinking it was a 4g63.

If this is not a joke, I am ashamed of the thread starter, I was only 15 when I bought my car (1991 Eclipse GSX) But I spent the whole of four months researching on those cars, so I knew what to look for and which ones to get (AWD turbo). I also spent a lot of time researching the engines, and I had an opportunity to buy a 96 GSX, but I didn't just because all people talked about was crankwalk in those motors. Red flags started going up when I saw the thread starters name, 95eclipseRsss, and then saw he was talking about a 4G63 motor. If you are serious about this, I forgive you this time, but please do your homework before you get into a REAL DSM, its a love-hate relationship
