hi i have a 95 GST, the lifters need to be taken out and checked to see which ones are bad and i was wondering do you need to take cams/timing belt off to take them out because it seems you would but then again i do not know to much about this. If you dont need to take cams and timingbelt out is this a job a amature could do or not? And i am also replacing turbo and i was wondering what do you tourqe the the nuts that go on the exhaust manifold to???? any info would be appreciated thanks:dsm:

Time to get yourself a haynes manual for your car. It will tell you how to do anything. If you have that manual, yea an amateur could do it, but without it you would be lost. It does involve taking off the t-belt and cams.

okay i went to vfaq.com but i cant find the the lifter replacement/cleaning, so can you give me the link to it?:dsm: all the way
