Center Taillight Removal

How do i take out my center taillight i want to paint it but i cant figure out how to take it off, do i need to cut a hole out or sumthing.

Go in the trunk, take the panels off, grab a socket and go to work.

I don't know if your car is a 1g or 2g... but on my 1g all I had to do was pop the plastic panels off behind the tail light, inside the car. Theres a few bolts holding it in. I'm guessing 2g would be similar.
