This was a butt pucker project. It took me 18 months to get this hood. 1st time it came shattered. So here we are 18 months and $1200 later and Im going to drill holes in it... it doesnt even come with a factory catch so no choice!

Drill these holes out next to your headlight tab

Put grease or paint on top of pin

Close good to mark the underside of your hood

Drill pilot holes all the way through(clench your cheeks now)

Mask the top of your hood so you dont scratch anything

Using the recommended hole saw cut through the top of your expensive hood

I missed the pics underneath but in my case you used a 2.5 hole saw so you can screw nuts on the back side. Tnen recheck your holes

Make sure everything lines up... use thread lock and tighten it all down!

Now you have pins in your hood and can go relax anyway you want.... We ordered imsonia cookies... you can crack a beer if you prefer.
