The has sat for a year. It's a 97 gst 7 bolt. The changes I've made during the rebuild was .020 over 8.5:1 pistons to .040 over 9:1. Switched to a 99 block with new bearings and arp everything. I'm using an AEM standalone. I have fuel and spark. My wideband goes lean and stays there (17.5+). Won't idle, will run if I hold it at 2k+ rpms. Won't rev past 5,500 rpms. I've tried to give it more fuel, but it would only hit 16 on the wideband with 3x the fuel. It has around 15 in hg of vacuum. No boost leaks either. I've ran out if ideas of what the issue is.

I would think its the fuel if it's been sitting for a year. Empty out the tank and put some fresh fuel in. Also check your fuel pump.

I did get rid of the emissions, the o2s are working. I am getting spark at the plugs. The plugs are brand new. The AEM won't change fuel do to what the 02s is sending it either.

If the plate for the crank sensor is backwards would it run at all?

how old is the fuel filter? If it sat then I would be getting rid of the old fuel and changing that filter.

I bet you have a boost/vac leak. I can tell if I blew a hose off or something at -15, should be a little higher at idle.

I put fresh gas in it. Fuel pressure is correct from the last tune. No exhaust leaks. I did the timing belt and have recheck it a few times. Brand new fuel pump. All 4 injectors have the same pulse showing on the AEM.

Fuel pressure isn't set by a tune. You need to confirm it is set at 43psi. Do you have a afpr?

What are you running for a maf?

I put a new fuel filter on it. It is at 43 psi. And I did a boost leak test and couldn't find any. I was trying to say that the fuel pressure is the same now as it was for when the tune was done.

Would it run if the plate te crank sensor reads from was backwards?

I can't say for sure whether or not it would run (it would be extremely poorly), but I will say this. If the crankshaft timing mark was aligned, and the crank angle sensor was installed when you put the plate on, there's no way to get it backwards. The fins on the plate won't clear the sensor if you try to put it on backwards. If you had to turn the crank any significant amount (>10°) for the fins to clear the sensor (or slide the sensor in around the fins), there's a good chance it's backwards.

I can't remember off the top of my head EXACTLY how that area and plate look, so forgive me if I'm a little vague.
