Car has NO power timing/vac issue??????

Here is my problem i have a 90 eclipse gsx that i bought 2 months ago drove for two days and then a valve cracked. I had a friend replace the valves for me and when he put the car back together it runs but it doesn't have any power you can't even tell when i hit boost its so bad. Its not just that either power below boost isn't normal or steady. Mycar idles fine so i don't think it is a vac leak though it still could be and i think about it and think when he put my car back together the cams weren't set up right and through my timing off. I had my ignition timing checked and that is fine. Kinda pissed off cause i have owned the car since febuary 12 and have only driven it 2 days. Anyone out there have the same problem or related problem???? Any ideas???

Im going through the same thing with my 95 GST. Had the Headgasket, Timing Belt, Balance Belt, Water Pump and tensioner done. After it was put together, Im suffering from lack of power, Louder engine at WOT, and Perfect idle (perfect and DSM thats gotta be wrong haha). The Mechanics i had it done at, even took the car back and verified the Timing marks. I never thought the cams coulda been setup wrong. The Mechanic i went to has 2 certified Import techs working there, and it wasnt a mitsubishi dealership, but the shop is a very well known and good local shop.
