Can't Upshift to 3rd GEAR Help!!!

I cant figure out why my car has trouble shifting into 3rd. If i sit in park with the clutch in every gear shifts nicley but when i drive it like gets stuck and won't go into 3rd. I have to wiggle it into 3rd gear. I don't know if it is the syncros or what. It will downshift just fine into third. I don't hear any grinding when I do get it into third!! Somebody help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Its drivin me nuts!!!

I have the same problem. It's intermittent. Sometimes 3rd gear works fine. When 3rd is being stubborn, I have to muscle it into gear. There is NO grinding. I tried switching tranny oil (Red Line MT90). Made no difference.

Please fill out your vehicle profile as which car you have year etc. IF it is a 1G, you may need to adjust the shift cables, worn mounts, worn bushings...
2g's are a little different, still could be worn components/cables, but there is no cable adjustment. New shifter and cable bushings seem to help.
Worst case it could be the syncro, and bushings will band-aid the problem.
