I was in the same boat as you when I tried to launch auto 2g. Even with my high compression 2.4 and a sinister 9" weighted converter. I was only seeing 2400 stall speed and no psi with a 6262 turbo. I came across a thread in ecmlink explaining the proper way to launch an auto using the als tap. In order to use the als properly. You need to ground your brake switch to the ecu. Then using the als table, you'll be able to retard timing and richen up the A/f raito when the brake pedal is pressed at a stop to build boost on the line. After doing this mod, I was able to build boost and launch my car within a few seconds. Heres the wiring diagram for a 2g.You must be logged in to view this image or video. You must be logged in to view this image or video.
