can i pass inspection without my evap system?

ok so heres the deal. i have to go to inspection soon cuz i got a f***ing refusal to inspect ticket, not even failure to inspect, since its been over six months. i have my evap system removed as per taboo speed shop and i was just wondering how this would really effect my emissions. i know they might fail me for tampering but i might just put them back in so they look like they are hooked up or something. anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated and im sorry i put this in the performance section i just didnt think it was a newbie question. thanks guys

I know here in IL they didn't check my car for it even ... it varies state by state though.

i know here in jersey they'll pop your hood and theyre supposed to check for tampering, anybody have any kind of experience with a ermoved evap system and state inspection?

Why not just put your evap stuff all back in place? There's no real good reason to remove it on a streetable car.

I just took my 100% stock 2g through inspection yesterday and they popped my hood. I didn't see them do that to any other cars while I was there...so they have the right to inspect what they want I guess. I'd have to say you won't pass with it on, on my project car I just bought a sticker with some connections. Ask around and you should be able to find someone you can pay to get a sticker.
