Calling "Steve" Electrical issue..Cutting power when there is any draw

Has anyone encountered a problem with the car cutting all power, ECU and all when there is a draw on the battery? Every time I try to start my car when I turn the key to start position, it will cut all power to everything. Same if I were to hit the brake pedal, but I noticed it only does it when the key is in the ON position. If anyone has even the slightest clue as to what on the stock electrical system that can do this, help me out please. Let me know if there is any other information you need to know in order to help. Every fuse is good, double checked. Thanks in advance.

First thing first, clean and sand down both battery terminal and tighten them down real well.

And after that check the ECU .

After pulling out the crappy alarm someone had installed before me, and finding nothing there I decided to take a break from it. Came back and leaned on the battery and saw the ground that goes to the firewall wasn't very well connected, so I wiggled it and all power came back! So thats all it was, a Ground. Thanks for the help guys, you got it right oldman.

I know I reached my planned retirement age 10 years ago but it looks like I'll be working a little longer. I forgot to give Gates the 10k back when he was just a Harvard dropout and we were hacking CP/M systems.
