Buying header soon....need some help?

Hey doods,

I just ran though about 10 pages on 2G NT header topics & threads...

I'm in the market for a new header, and I've seen a whole slew of different ones...

Aside from the GReddy, can somebody give me a little list of some manufacturers?

I'd love the GReddy, but I'm on a budget. I'm not too interested in the Pacesetter, as the header I purchased for my all-motor Neon R/T did NOT IMPRESS ME AT ALL.

...borsal $360, hp racing $25-280, if you are really on a tight budget there is the OBX one..goes for about 150 or so

actually the header on the 420a flows quite well. if your on a budget you can make some of the same performance numbers as the big name brands for a fraction of the price by just porting yours and then wrap it with thermal wrap. it will cost you just over $100 give or take on the porting.

Interesting....

I never considered porting the header. I've done intake manifolds before (and gotten quite good at it too), but never a header.

IF I port the header, should I just be concerned with port-matching at the head or are there other things to be done?

Hot Shot makes a nice header and its about $100 or so cheaper than the Greddy
