Buy/Sell vendor ratings????

I think this might be a good addition to the site so that we can keep other board members apprised of our experinces w/ different vendors. Kinda like a customer service rating. I saw this on the 3SI site and thought it would be a welcome addition here...


What do you boys and girls think....

I think your link isn't working. Anyway, could be a good idea. Could run into a few problems though, arguing could occur about vendors. Like person XXX had a terrible experience with a vendor. Then guy YYY who had a fantastic experience will come and defend them. Arguing could ensue. Just a possibility though. I like the idea though.

it would work if there was payed membership... but this site is funded by sponsor.. and sponsors don't want to donate money to a site that has things like "this vendor sucks yo" on their site

This is a very good idea, I have had very good dealings with many dsm venders up until the present. We all know about my MUTT nightmare but I can honestly say my dealings with the company at time of purchase was very good. I have dealt with rollhard.com turbotrix.com indyracecores.com,Magnus and some others that I don't remember off the top of my head. I can honestly say my dealing have been wonderful.

Well, my good luck has come to an end rather quickly. When dealing with one dsm shop at the present time. I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service and over all communication with this vender. you can click the link on my sig for details.

Exactly sucks don't it? Kind of defeats the point of the entire information exchange process. I would much rather pay to keep a board up and be able to express the truth about suck ass venders and not have to read page after page of vender praising by anonymous advertisement teams sent in to hype products for there favorite shop.

Very good point, but if anything i think it may make them more consious of their customer service issues. At least if i was a business owner and i knew that a vender review forum existed i would do my best to keep a good image, you would think that they would do the same...
