Boosting problems!!

Ok, I was driving pretty hard a couple nights ago and was going to get on the freeway after a WRX. I had it in second and when I went WOT, all my boost just seemed to blow to atmosphere. I no longer had any pull and it sounds like I have a boost leak (sound of escaping air). I looked over the piping and tightened a couple of the clamps. I drove it a bit and could hold boost around 10-11 psi until third gear. I can't hold much anything in the upper gears before I start bucking a little and that leaking sound gets pretty loud. Today I disconnected the upper pipe and reconnected everything to make sure nothing was loose. I test drove the car and it seemed a little better, but then the CEL came on. I pulled a P1103, which says it is a wastegate actuator malfunction. I am in a mess and I need some help to figure out what is going on and what my next step should be.

I am going to get the parts to make the intake leak tester tomorrow, so that should help me fix the leak issue. Is this CEL code related to that or a result of a boost leak? What exactly does it mean?

BTW, I am not positive, but the thought just came to mind just now. How would I know if it could also be my clutch? I don't remember if when I was "losing" boost, my revs were going up without me moving any faster... But having this problem be more predominant in the higher gears makes me wonder... Sorry for the long post, but I am stuck and need some help.

How bout looking into the code that the ecu gave you? If the wastegate is stuck open, then it wont let you hold boost. Check for cuts and tears in the ic pipes.

I feel real dumb now.....Wastegate malfunction....can't hold boost......if wastegate stuck open, can't hold boost......I'm thinking too hard. Hopefully, that is my problem. I'll let you know if that fixes it. Thanks a billion.
