Boost Spike Poll (please take a look)

He DSMers, this poll isnt really for me its for a friend thats running a big 16g on a 1 gen talon, wit a 2.5 O2 back exhaust (no cat), HKS SSQ BOV, and keeps having a problem wit boost spike, he had a MBC set to 10 pounds but in any other gear other than first it would spike to 18 almost 20 pounds, he put his stock boost controller on and he sas hes running 10 pounds but once he hits about 6k rpms it starts spiking and he says it just keep going up so he cant realy floor it, also his vaccum lines are bigger than the stock ones so i was thinking this might of affected it too, now i dont have a big 16g so i dont really know if this is common or not but i havent heard too much about it which is why im trying to make this poll. if everyone could please just post the follow:
1. Do you get boost sppike?
2. if so, how bad?
3. What kind of mods do u have?
4. If u have any ideas why my friend is spiking please include

2. 5psi of creep
3. 3" turboback exhaust
4. Could be many different reasons, all I can say is look thru this website; many people say port o2 housing, install bigger flapper, or external dump, there are many options in tryin to get rid of creep

Sounds more like boost creep to me than boost spike. After the spike does the boost imidiatly go back down or does it keep going up.

yes ur absolutly right i meant boost creep, it kinda just keeps going till he lets off the gas, or feathers the gas
