Boost leak

How would a boost leak feel like? I'm having to take my car to like 3 1/2 rpms to actually engage the turbo. Any suggestions would help out thanks!

a boost leak would sound/feel like the turbo is spoolin but you have no power?

Yeah a bad boost leak will sound like a very loud turbo because the turbo is spinning very fast trying to pressurize the intake. But most boost leaks are hard to find and if you have a loud exhaust you just won't hear them. If you're running stock MAS the very first thing you will notice is that the car will run extremely rich because there's unmetered air getting inside the engine on very bad leaks the car will be almost undriveable.

I find by using silcone couplers on your FMIC piping you will need to re-torque the clamps from time to time. The silicone couplers tend to shrink and expand with temperature changes. By using a boost leak tester and a spray bottle with a squirt of dishwashing soap, I can find most leaks easily.
