calgary,
Well I am not sure why my other thread got deleted but I don;t think I did anything wrong but here is what is going on..

1st I ported and polished the trubo(T25) the mani, and the o2 housing.. Put it all back together and thought it madce a world of difference. When I posted what RPM it hit full boost 4000 aprox they said something was really wrong like a big boost leak or mani leak..

Also yesterday did a dry compression test and got good results..

1. 158
2. 158
3. 164
4. 150

Four is a little low but still alright..

That lead me here and I have done lots of thread reading on this issue already. My problems now are did a boost leak test on the turbo inlet and get bubling iin the oil pan. Leads me to think turbo seal... Next did the test on the LICP and sort of thought the PCV valve was leaking but now it does not seam to be. Can someone let me know a definitive way if it is bad?

Then once i pluged everything up and then found a leak at the throttle body elbow. I tightend everything up but still leaking? Can i just use a litle gasket maker on there to seal it up??

So i need a little guidence on what to do. Let me know what you guys think..

Yeh I did that . That is how I found the leak at the TB. The one I am concerned about is the bubling in the oil pan. Not sure how to go about figureing that one out. I am fixing the tb leak now and will then move onto the next one. I guess you can only do one leak at a time.. Thanx so far.. TTY

Ok Stupid question. When they say on the boost leak test that it should hold 20psi for about 30 secs that means hold 20psi for 30 secs then maybe starts to decrease or does it mean that it should hold 20psi gradually going do to 0 in about 30 seconds..

Sorry for the dumb question...

I still have a leak at the TB but I am sure it is comming from the butterfly linkage. Is there a seal in there that can go? Thanx
