I LOVE BODY KITS I THINK THAT A CAR ISNT REALLY A TUNER OR AN IMPORT UNLESS YOU GOT ONE IM NOT TALKIN FAST AND FURIOUS BUT MAYBE A WIDE KIT OR A MIX N' MATCH, SURE STOCK LOOKS GOOD AND ALOT OF PEOPLE LIKE IT STOCK BUT DONT YOU LOVE ROLLIN' BY THE CHICKS WITH YOUR AFTERMARKET BOV SOUNDIN AND THE SWEET KIT WITH THAT ROWDY PAINT LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS R THINKIN; THANKS!

:rocks:

Are you talkin' about catchin the girl's eyes or the cops'? I find that 90% of girls could care less about your ride, while a ricer looking car will almost always catch a cop's eye.

I choose to fly under the radar : )

Stock is best IMO, Wide body kits are held on by very thin layers of material. 1 too many hard launches, and there goes that kit. Honduhs deserve body kits.

Can't get any better than the stock lines that our cars come with imo. Most bodykits just don't flow with them. But if you want to attract the eyes of others, paint it red:sneaky:.

Haha jeez guys I didnt want you to womp on me I was just vocing my opinion also if you read it carefully I said no fast N furious kits just a lip or a wide something unique to really show your style :dsm::cool:

There is really no need for all caps, and I'm not sure what being a "tuner" or "import" has to do with body kits, but i digress...

With that being said, I have a stillen front, and a wings west wing. Although if I had to do it again, I'd have a stock bumper.:D

+1 to that, I think that thing looks nasty! However it is going to be a major cop magnet. I also believe our cars look best stock, 2gB's are just dead sexy if you ask me. And I also second the girls loving the torque more than the body kit. It's nice girls getting in your car, the turbo throwing you back in your seat and they just have a grin from ear to ear. A body kit won't do that! Why spend say $500 on a bodykit when you can buy a FMIC? Cams? Just my 2 pennies worth

Body kits went out like 3 yrs ago. Keep it stock. Trust me the boost will get you laid more then a body kit will. Chicks dig fast cars. Not a car that is flashy and noticed by everyone.

Do what you like but, turbo 2g's looks super nice stock with a drop. When I see a clean, dropped 2g with a huge intercooler and a nice 3" exhaust out back, I assume it's a beast on the street. With the turbo cars, it's not necessary to make it "look" faster when it can easily be faster. Plus, the body kit craze went out in like 5 or 6 years ago. I say, get some nice wheels, a drop and a few performance parts and go from there. I'm sure once you get your car running faster, you'll forget about the body kits.

My Philosophy is most body kits just make our cars look "ricey"..Gives the respectable DSM owners a bad rep. There are a few out there that do flow really nicely. Like the stock body kit, very sexy!!!

I agree with the stock looks being amazing, but in all honesty do what you want to do. Im assuming for the most part you already have your mind made up whether or not you're going to purchase a body kit so why ask other people what you should do?:dsm:

Everyone on here is going to tell you not to get a bodykit.

My car is stock body but lowered on 18s and I think it looks badass, yea, but I'm not going to rule out all bodykits just because everyone says they are ###.

But yeah some bodykits look good, as long as it isnt a bomex style or Blitz style. I personally like the Veilside EC1 on 2g's.

Do what you like, its your car. You dont need anyone elses approval, build your car for you and no one else. People are going to hate regardless, but F them and press on with pride.

I have yet to see a decent body kit or bumper for the 2g Eclipse. The stock 2gb lines looks so sexy and subtle. I'd spend your money to make it faster. But like others have said, its your car so do what you like.

PS- Turn off your caps lock. :)

A body kit is up to you, but the problem most people run into with them is that they try to do it themselves and they end up looking horrible. If you decide to do it, let a good shop do it and dont just glue it or tape it on. Theres body kits, and than theres the body kits everyone thinks of being bumpers, fenders, side skirts, and whatever else just sticks on.

Dont take the criticism from everyone saying that a turbo is better than a kit, its your choice. If you want a body kit, do it, but do it right, same goes for a turbo, do it right. Just bolting on a bigger turbo is just as bad a bolting on a body it. It may look faster, sound better, but its still going to fall apart.
