I installed my new coolant lines. They do indeed smell like cherry. They taste like coolant though; probably just dirty . Both radiator hoses were too long, so I cut them to fit. There's still a little bend in the upper one that you can clearly see but it seems to be holding up well so far. It's hard to see all the heater core and TB coolant lines with the intake in the way, so just use your imaginations.
I also took the time to bend up some diamond-plate aluminum to make a heat shield for the manifold. Unforseen side effect of the heat shield: melted all the plastic on the dipstick Pics of that later. Anyway, enjoy:
