I bought a 4g64 off of ebay to replace my 7 bolt that was getting tired. Anyway turns out I got one of the 2000 4g64 that are turned 180 degrees and now I have to resale it. Well my 7 bolt finally went (I melted a piston and part of the cylinder wall) and might have found my 4g64 donor at the local junk yard. I found a late 80's RWD mighty max with a 4g64. Once rebuilt is this going to be the right block to put in my dsm? The guys at the yard were telling me it won't work b/c it is RWD truck and my car is FWD. I tried telling them I think my tranny would bolt up but I figured I would run it by you guys before I bought another useless block. So can I use this?

I was also wondering where I could get a set of 1g rods/ 2g pistons for the 2.4? :dsm:

Please help someone!! If I can use this block I will go and get it this weekend.
