Blow Off Valve Sound On Automatics

Is There Any BOV that will produce a "Woosh" sound on an automactic when shifting??

since automatics shift without having to let off on the gas(and without loosing boost ), no, it doesnt make a whoosh sound when you shift. it only makes the sound when you let off the gas when pressure is built up.

So I would hear a "wooosh" sound when it shifts and I let go the gas for a bit ??

when the car "shifts" you may hear something small, but most likely you'll just hear your turbo spool slow down a bit, then build right back up once it finishes shifting. theres about a half a second time between shifts, but its not enough to "blow off" your boost pressure. so it only does it when you mash the gas petal and let off. if you go around driving and just try it out you'll know what i mean.

Its actually kinda nice that way because if you run a vented BOV then you have that whoosh every time you shift in a 5speed which I could see getting annoying if it was too loud. With the auto it only makes it when you let off the gas.

Im assuming since you have a BOV you most likely have a boost gauge, If you let off on the gas real quick when you see your boost is fully built you will hear the Perfomance Enhancing, HP gaining BOV sound ::note sarcasm:: Otherwise all it will do is sit on the pipe and not leak!!!!
