biss and surge?

i own a 91 talon n/t, when i start the car,after it has been sitting (cold)it would idle normal. if it did not move! when the e brake comes off and i roll it starts to idle surge. now stay with me, it only does this untl the temp comes up. that was then this is now it kicks right up to 28k then surges in between 1k and 25k some times its lower. now when i turn my biss all the way in the idle does not hardly change it still surge. the o ring on the biss looks good. now when its in all the way, i go for a 3 or 4 mile drive then i press in the clutch and BINGO it runs great. then i shut the car off and restart it. it idles so low it stalls. so i have to back out the biss, then it starts to surge again. like i said before the o ring looks in great shape. i need help i drive this car everyday. any advice would help.

the same thing is sorta happening to mine, I changed my BISS and O ring, changed my ISC unit and its still the same. I think you should try cleaning out your throttle body first, thats the next thing I'm going to do, if that don't work I'd try changing the O2 sensor.

the hell with it, i am just going to buy a new i mean used tb maybe thats my prob. when i turn on the ac on nothing changes, the idle surges the same if i unplug my isc no change, but if i unplug the maf it stops. i have a injen cai with a kn filter. i removed the silencer from the maf. but that was a long time ago. i just think its the tps or the isc i will keep ya posted.

By the way, you should probably wait a little bit longer for someone to reply, I mean your first "bump up post" was 3 hours after your original one. Not trying to be rude, just giving some helpfull advice.

I also have a little bit of an idle surge, goes up to about 3500, then when I start driving it goes back to normal, like I have a sticky throttle or something, any idea for me?

sorry about that im new. any way yours does the same, well kinda, did ya try cleaning the tb, or ya know what i heard it may also be an exhust leak, my talon mainifold has two hair line cracks in it. u should try checking yours out, this is not uncommon for this type of car, so ive heard. i guess if one thing is off it can effect the whole motor. too much air, im guessing my prob is. im going to put my header on. and take it from there.
