what are the best plugs and wires i can get? how much do they cost?


I have Bosch platinum plugs right now

I'd go with the Denso Iridium and the MSD Supper Conducter Wires. 8.5mm

If I were you I would change those asap. It may be different on the 1g but I had them on my car because the punk at Murray's said they were good for my car. Well they weren't and my engine kept misfiring and it cost me over 200 bucks to get it fixed plus my car is still fugged and I have to take it back in on Monday. But like I said it may be different on the 1g......

As for my 2G GSX, I am using NGK Plugs with Accel wires. My car runs hella smooth and i'm very satisfied with them.

yeah,the NGK's are definately the only way to go with our cars.

I havent tried out many wires i know that NGK plugs are the way to go on just about anything though, i ran them on my RX-7. As for the wires i have heard people talkin about thoses nology wires and sayin that they make a differance kinda pricey but nuthin but the best for my baby

It's a very weird question, and I doubt that anyone really knows. But some engines like certain plugs more than others- My Datsuns, DSMs, Suzuki and Yamaha all like NGK, my VW and Alfa liked Bosch. The Dodge seemed happy with Champion. I couldn't guess why, but I have tried messing around some between the companies (such as the old U-Groove NipponDenso), and it "felt" like there was a loss....

These seems to be the best setup and should help the car run much smoother
