Being that I am apparently a total moran, I bent a few valves on my new head. :ohdamn: In the 30 seconds of chaos, the valves weren't bent too badly. I can't see any broken guides. Since this head is brand new and it looks like I only need 8 valves, what is the minimum I can expect to have to replace? Will I have to replace the seats and guides again? I just want to know what I am getting into so I can pick up the parts before dropping it off at the machine shop.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like I did get lucky. I was only 3 teeth off and did a compression test last night and got 145 - 150 across the board. I think that is pretty good considering this is a fresh motor and the rings probably haven't seated properly. Thanks again!

glad you had some luck!!

best of luck to ya!!
