Start with changing the tranny filter and the fluid. Sounds like the same problems I was having with the shifting from 1-2 and 2-3. If your problem is OverDrive then it maybe your End Clutches. My problem was first slipping while in OverDrive and then eventually the slipping from 1-2 and 2-3. The cause was the End Clutches were worn and the shavings from the End Clutches were clogging the Tranny Filter.

Your filter is clogging up with debris. If you change it you may get a few more weeks out of it.
