looking around at timing kits and components i noticed that some say they are for 4g63 engines with and without this oil balance shaft? whats the deal with this thing and what does it take to eliminate it? the kit to eliminate it is fairly cheap, i was just wondering what all is involved to eliminate this thing. can it be done when i change my timing belt?

You usually have to pull the motor as it makes it much easier.
You'll notice a more vibrations from having no balance shafts however it removes a possible failure point for the car.
