Bad threads

What do I do about stripped threads. I was changing my exhaust manifold gasket. I disconnected the oil line which comes from the head and goes to the turbo. When I tried to reinstall the bolt it just kept turning. When I looked at the bolt the threads from the head were on it. I also have the same problem with one of my oil pan bolts. This engine use to overheat alot, would that cause this problem. I was thinking of just using JB Kwik weld to seal the bolts to prevent them from leaking. Do you guys recommend anything else.

get a tap and die set, clean out the hole and re-tap it

don't jb weld it. get the tap and die set . that will fix it.
