I put this together so you’ll only need this page for most torque specs to replace rear main seal, flywheel, clutch or manual transmission.

I left off simple items like slave cylinder, downpipe and other small brackets/miscellaneous items.

Rear main seal 7-9 ftlbs
Oil pan bolts 5 ftlbs
Flywheel bolts 35, 75 then 100ftlbs - red thread lock
Pressure Plate bolts 18-22ftlbs - blue thread lock

Manual transmission - blue thread lock
Rear bolt 12mm 22-25 ftlbs
3x 14mm bolts 31-40 ftlbs

Drain plug 24mm 22-25 ftlbs
Fill plug 17mm 22-25 ftlbs

Starter bolts 20-25 ftlbs

Mount
Bracket to transmission 43-58 ftlbs
Through bolt 43-58 ftlbs
To frame 29-36 ftlbs

Transfer case 40-43 ftlbs

Drain/fill 22-25 ftlbs

Gusset 51-58 ftlbs

Right member
3x 17mm bolts up front 58-72 ftlbs
Center long 14mm 51-58 ftlbs
Rear short 14mm 51-58 ftlbs

Driver side axle carrier to block 26-33 ftlbs

Struts to knuckle 80-101 ftlbs

Tie rod 17-25 ftlbs

Axle nut 144-188 ftlbs

I used this and other threads. Thanks to 19eclipse90

Thanks for putting this together, I am doing this all now and it will be super handy.

In case anyone else is determined to torque everything to spec, here are the additional ones you mentioned:

Clutch release ("slave") cylinder: 11-15 ft/lbs
Clutch release cylinder banjo: 14-18 ft/lbs

Downpipe to O2 nut: 29-43 ft/lbs
Downpipe "hanger" nut: 22-29 ft/lbs (usually only on a stock downpipe)

In case you remove the brake calipers from the hub:
Brake caliper bolt: 58-72 ft/lbs

All specs from the FSM.

I can't for some reason and I notice on some posts you can't edit.

Can you please change below on the first post?

Flywheel bolts 35, 75 then 100ftlbs
Pressure Plate bolts 18-22ftlbs

Thanks, Marty!!

Take a look and make sure it reads how you want it Tony.
I have found that the "Edit" time, sometimes runs out if you don't notice a error pretty quickly, but I can always fix it for any member if needed. :thumb:
