I'm doing the AWD conversion on my Spyder and was wondering which springs/shocks I would be able to use. Would I have to get springs/shocks that are designated for the GSX? Or would I still use springs/shocks designated for the GST?

Hmmmm awd conversion meaning fwd to awd..cuz you have alot more to worry about then what shocks to use...

not trying to sound like an ass, but if you don't know what shocks to use, then you need to do some more research on doing a AWD conversion. it is ALOT harder and mor complicated then you think. there has only been a couple people who have done it and only one person who has done it to a spyder (that i know of).

anways, GSX shocks or an aftermarket shock/spring designed for a AWD will work.

I'm doing the hardest swap in the DSM world, and I'm not sure if the shift knob will work. Should I get the shift knob off a GSX, or will mine work. Thanks. I'm not worried about the difficult parts because the shift knob has me sleepless.

Dude, focus on the hard bits. The easy ones will come in time.

My question is do you have a doner car, because if you did, you would already know the answer to that question. I have the only AWD Spyder in Oregon (That I know of)! If you need to chat e-mail me. I will give you some hints to make it easy.
