Hey I need help, I am now going to install my EGT gauge but there is a prob. The needle is sitting at just under 4000 and its not even hooked up. It says it has been calibrated on the back. Is there a way to fix this or what do I do. Help me

I'm not sure if its the same with an egt gauge but my old autometer boost gauge was off calibration like that and I don't think there's any way to fix it. I guess put it in to see if it rights itself or return it. I ended up just getting a new boost gauge.

Yea, I gave it few hits with the hand and it corrected itself
