I have a 93 tsi awd. The auto shoulder belt
will not retract every time I get in the car. It
does it intermittently. The passenger side works
every time. I understand that one relay is
responsible for both sides so i don't think it
is a relay problem. Any suggestions?

Regards
Greg

There is no pressure sensor in the seat. The connection under the seat is for the lap belt buckle to activate the light on the dash to warn you. There are multiple switches for each side. The one that activates with the door is in the door itself, it's not the same switch in the door frame that turns on the dome light.

The 91 Talon I used to drive had that problem. I just grabbed the mouse and gave it some encouragement.
