Yes, I love it! I smile every time I walk out my front door and see it there!

For the record : Selling a 99 Expedition. About to relocate and can't take it with me.

Good luck with the move, Florida has a GREAT automotive culture, should give you a good chance to try out some new autosports (i.e. autocross and road courses) if you are interested.

You looking to get rid of some extra dsm parts for cheap as you clean out the garage? ;) LOL

Florida has a LOT more than I have here. The same jobs that are available here, such as my career choice, offer triple my current yearly income. It's insane. Where you might struggle to get 5 good places to send out a resume to - I spent 20 minutes and got 38 resumes' sent for jobs that I was qualified for, and that was just for jobs that didn't require a formal application and just wanted the resume.

As far as cleaning things out, I've been doing that for a while - slowly. Not a whole lot left at all. Lol.

I just spent the last 2 hours trying to extract two bolts which snapped while removing the front bumper. Both Bo,to o. The driver side to the fender snapped while removing. I've soaked the damn things for over a week with pbblaster, heat, and vibration. Tried to use a grab-it bolt extractor which usually works pretty good but simply won't pull these seized bolts. After that I tried drilling a hole all the way through to relieve some pressure and use a standard extractor....didn't work again, it just eats part of the bolt and spins out.

So it looks like my next step will be to pick up a new tap and die set (guess I lost mine during my last move). Try and see if I can just tap a new thread in the old bolt. Anyone know what size tap the majority of the bolts are on the car? The 10 and 12 mm head bolts?

Question what are head bolts suppose to be torque too if they are arp studs.

EDIT: Nevermind colby told me but I do have a question since I have it apart I am changing out the rod that spun, would any body happen to have a spare rod I could buy with out it costing me an arm or my leg.

Not selling it afterall? Lol. :p good. If you decide to, though, let me know. May actually pick it up.

HEY GUYS!! I'm located in Batesville, AR and im needing an engine asap LOL PM me please if you got something. It doesnt have to have a head (already have one)

If you have rods and can buy .020 pistons, I have a semi-rare revised 7 bolt block for you. :)

Funny story guys, this kid in a 3g thought he'd try to race me. Through town. He took off and I kept at the speed limit, he dissapears around a curve and sure enough, I come around to see flashing blue lights behind him. Oh the look on his face when I drove past him. Priceless.ROFL

Silly 3G owners.... However many of us have been at that stage when we were younger.

On a side note, having serious issues deciding if I want to go evoscan or dsmlink. I like the customizability of evoscan as I can make custom gauge overlays and run the output to a minipc with the video going to an in dash double din screen which would help me keep a stockish appearance. I can do the same with link as well but not as nice gauge layouts.

The question comes down to how well does evoscan handle launch control, anti lag, etc compared to link?

Lots of info in the tuning forum just curious as to if anyone has direct experience. Not to mention evoscan is half the price as well as open source and I'm a programmer which gives it a slight upper hand.

I was at that point not too long ago. Haha! And Bobby has worked with the dsmlink, so has Colby and Keiya I'm pretty sure.

+1 on not biting on a slower car ;) 3gs shouldn't even be on your radar... Haha.

Evoscan is the logging software, Ecuflash is the tuning software ;) Honestly I love Ecuflash I've been using it for a couple years now, along with Ecmlink. I'd still use Flash over link, but mainly because I'm used to it. The simplicity of Ecmlink though is barnone. I'd just go Ecmlink if I were you.

As far as Ecuflash handling launch control, anti-lag(which you'll probably never use), NLTS, etc. etc. etc... I have several videos of the launch control, and anti-lag for just purpose of making a video to show people. You can set up your stationary rev limit, along with the switch speed. Along with anti-lag you can set up the start RPM as well as the ignition retard for it. I've never used the NLTS with it so I wouldn't know, heard it's pretty straight forward though.

All in all I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to use Ecuflash, it's a well rounded, cost effective tuning solution which I love. But you'd probably be happier with link, unless you want more of a challenge :D

Well lukes awd to fwd is under way.... bet that's.never been done before LOL ;) he has probably.got the sub gram dropped by now.

I'm just on the lookout for the Supra in town! Haha!:hellyeah:

Lol depending on what he has, you may not be on his radar ;).

I got faith, be safe!

On a lighter note, the gs-t will.soon have full leather interior! And if im lucky swapping some gauges for the automatic eprom that's in the white talon(stilk gotta look and make sure)!

Pretty much it in a nutshell.

Yeah the rear of the talon is about 20 feet from where it used to be. Come out of the car with ease after a little lube and some heat on those rusty ass bolts. I need to start a build journal for the swap. I know you took pictures on Saturday and I took some with the rear out of it Sunday but I used my Digital Camera and now I can't find the cord to hook it to my computer so I will have to retake some more pics. I also removed the Engine harness, and auto shifter on Sunday as well. All I have left to do is do remove the brake and gas peddles from the talon and it will be to the stage of removing the parts from the eclipse and putting them into the talon. I do have a question though.... the eclipse doesn't have abs. The Talon does. This won't interfere with anything will it? I found the abs module when I was removing the engine harness. I don't think the talon having abs will affect my swap. I was just wondering about the sensor on the rear diff . Is it an ABS sensor or speed sensor of some sort. If it is a ABS sensor then I know I will have an ABS light on when I put the all back together. but IDC about an ABS light, i know how to take care of those:sneaky:

Then you can look out for the Supra, EVO, 240, and GTO in our neighborhood. :thumb:

That gto will just play with him in 3rd hes almost 500 at the ground. The 240 is stock unless its the one with a ls1 in it. And I don't know about that evo or supra

And if my other buddy still had his civic he would kill also he had 450 to the ground in it also

Come up to Fayetteville and take a shot at the twin turbo 370z nismo, zl1, or multiple supercharged caddies...makes me sick the cars parents are buying their kids for graduating now days. Seeing a freshmen pull up in a Bentley sickens me....
