i want to know
ive tried finding them
and want to know what they would look like on a 1g

if anyone knows of a website or something let me know

The closest thing you will find for the 1g is the crystal headlights. You can find them all over e-bay. No projector lights exist for the 1g's unfortunatly. I had a 1gb Laser and learned that.

that is unfurtunate i think they would look really nice on the 1gb's

the crystal headlights arent bad but i really want the look of projectors or maybe even HID
but im not sure what i want just yet

Or customization.
Ive seen s14 silvia headlights on a 1g on car domain.
I didnt like it though kinda ricey.

Personally i may just go with the crystal headlights on ebay
because there nice and clean looking without being ricey and my stockers are fogged up anyways.

I found these on ebay. I was thinking about getting them. What does it mean about the "Comes with blue city light - you can connect it to your existing parking lights or leave it disconnected" thing? Is the H4 bulb the brightness light, and the blue city light just regular? And I thought the parking lights were the ones on the side. Just wondering if these would be direct replacement without having to wire anything, because I don't think I could do that. Just trying to find info on these and thought I'd post this up in here. A little out-dated, but oh well.

WTH folks! IMO you're wasting your time with "look" upgrades for a 1G. The 1G is going to look best when it's just as clean as possible with a nice aggresive stance and possibly some TASTEFUL 16"-17" wheels. The line between rice and good looking is oh so thin on 1gs' because of their already dated looks, so do yourselves a favor and don't bother. Wet sand the lenses on your lights so they look new, replace the bulbs with something higher end, and call it good.

IMO again; the 1G is for going fast and enjoying the performance that put Mitsu on the map. Attempting to "upgrade" their looks just hurts it most of the time. Anything Chinese off Ebay is garbage and the fitment won't be right 9 out of 10 times. OEM is much better because it's cleaner and gauranteed to fit. I can't even begin to tell you guys how many basket case DSMs' customers have brought to me that have had Ebay parts hacked and rigged on to fit and the car suffers because of it. That's with both Ebay engine and appearance "upgrades."

Flashy is for pimply faced teens who are infatuated with F&F. There is nothing wrong with a factory car that has a nice suspension and lighter/wider wheels, but that's where the line needs to be drawn. Save yourself some time and definitely some money and put your hard earned cash where it really belongs on a 1G; under the hood or within the drivetrain components.

That's just my opinion and obviously they're your cars so you're free to do what you'd like, but just look at the suck factor or all those riced out Civics with horrible body kits they installed themselves and shoddy work applied to damn near every aspect of their cars. Do you want that to be your car? With a 1G you'll beat people with raw power (track only please), but leave the "custom" looks to show cars.

The city light is a little blue light under the H4 bulb that you can rig to work w/ your parking lights (ambers) if you pop up your headlights without running the headlights. I have a set of these headlights on my Miata and they look pretty good, but I never hooked up the city light and you don't have to unless you want to.:laser:

Oh, ok. So it's just an extra parking light. I see. So if I didn't hook it up I'd still have brights and regular headlights right? They work off the same bulb? Do you think I would need to get different H4 bulbs other than the ones it comes with? Difference in volts or whatever? And would the H4 bulb plug into the harness fine? Not sure if or when I'd get these, but I just want to make sure I wouldn't have to do much to put them in. Thanks.

And that is your opinion NATAS. People's definition of "ricey" can vary. I mean yeah, a big, aluminum spoiler on a civic is pointless and most likely ugly, but I don't think these headlights are as extreme as that. I just find the stock pop-up lights boring, so I kinda was thinking about changing them for these, which "I" don't think would look bad on "MY" car.

Maybe some people like me don't have the money to do a good headlight conversion or put there money under the hood like you said. What's wrong with adding "looks" parts? So if it were up to you, all cars would look the same with no room for being unique. That sounds cool. But hey, all this is just my opinion as well. Just thought I'd share it since you felt you needed to share yours.
