Need some opions from anyone who has either system installed, like sounds/performance/looks.

I like my N1, but would rather have the EVO. The piping is bigger (marginal) and no need for the stupid silencer if I want to be quiet.

is the N1 downpipe a cat aliminator only or is there a version were I can keep my cat & switch to a race pipe when I need to

ha ha, did you just put shell of a cat on the downpipe. thats pretty awsome

I love my Evo. I don't get hassled much by cops cause it isn't a canister design. It sounds good, deep but not to loud. I have the N1 downpipe and I love the combination. I have had people as me if it's a V6 cause its pretty burly. I love the Evo and have heard it next to my buddy's N1. I like the sound of the Evo better personally. The diff is that the N1 seems more harsh and the evo is more smooth and deep. The N1 has a little bit of a raspy tone IMO. not sayin that i dont like the n1 cause its a great system, but i prefer my evo. Good luck :thumb:
let us know what you decide on!

I just got the n1 downpipe and cat back and i really like it, but the GReddy is quieter.

performance wise N1 is better, cause of the design and the purpose of this type of Exhaust. Evo is good too, but it's more all around type of exhaust, which mean it's quieter but less hp than N1. If you want max gain after you upgrade your turbo then get N1.

I don't think EVO has bigger piping than N1.

EVO has bigger piping than the N1 does, at least until the very last part of the N1 where it's supposed to be larger.

Mr.Samples: yup, it's the stock cat's heat shield with flanges that we cut in half and bolts. It looks real :)

hey just researched it and the n1 piping can rang from 70-74.7-85mm depending on what you want. the evo just has the standard 80mm w/115 tip hope that helps yall.

There is a easy way to answer this one..One is for the N/T eclipse 2.5 inches and one is for the Turbo Eclipse 3 inches...
Also the Evo has the same sizes as Apexi for N/T and Turbo...so do some more research..:thumb:
