o I c I work on the black belt for the Fremont hub and yeah I'll diffe b hitin u up to get sum ideas

Hey guys. I live in Citrus Heights between Antelope and Riverside off I-80. I had a '98gst but lost it due to money problems. I have finally got my money situation back in order am back in the scene. I have a Green '93 TSI, Stock 6 bolt, ACT 2100, Fidanza light weight FW, ported 2G mani, 16G, Custom O2 housing, Custom 3" turbo back, and free mods of course. The car ran a 13.6 before the 2G mani and 16G. No idea what it runs now.

I think if more of us got together for BBQ's, project days where we just help each other work on our rides and such we might get better turnouts at the track and on meets.

Here's my email for anyone interested in getting together and swaping stories checkin' out rides and sh!t. [email protected]

if its a 93 its not a "stock" 6 bolt. You might have just ment that the motor isn't built though, whatever floats your boat,..

the 93-94 7 bolts don't crank walk, so if you swapped in a 6 bolt just ### you wasted your time. If the previous owner did it, whatever I guess. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

Yes I mean a not built 6 bolt. Semantics. Anyhow, I konw the 1G 7 bolts don't crank walk and thats not why my buddy swaped the motor. I don't know how many people actually know the difference between the the 1G 6- and 7- bolt motors but for brief-ness sake the motor is stronger. It has big rods a stronger crank and overall a more even rotational mass.

well do we want to make monthly meets. i know the 8h civic guys i hang out with have a meet almost every month to month and a half. and they have a weekly meet that they drive through a mountain road. i know why am i with civics when i have a dsm.
we should start to do that.:thumb::sneaky:

If a couple of us start doing regulary the others will follow. People don't like to show it isn't consistant.

I order my now oil pan next week and possibly smog it the same day if not the following week. We'll see how money is. Living on disability sucks.

Maybe we could just meet up sometime in person and get things rollin. I'll pm my phone number.

None of you are starting anything new.. We have had weekly meets for a LOOOOOOOONG time.

The NorCalAWD meets are the orginal DSM meets.

Also SFF now meets every other Thurs "opposed to every Thurs" and my H-T meets have been huge 60-100+ cars every time.

When you guys are ready to goto meets. Just ask.

TSimage, where and when? I've been on NorCal and all but I don't see much as far as meets in Sac on a regular basis. I'd definitly go if new where and when.

Like I said you need to join the forums and find out.

There is a SacForceFed tomorrow I believe.

H-T is having a meet either on the 4th or 11th of Oct.

NorCal AWD meets are starting back up the end of this month.

And The Motech meet is this weekend.

I've been on NorCal Forums and there hasn't been anything relevent about meets posted since damn near 2005. As far as DSMTalk.com there isn't any thread relevant to the Sac area nor any posts that I can find about meets or monthly cruises. Here is the only place I've seen with anything about meets that is somewhat current and I still don't see much for organized cruises.

I've joined the major DSM forums and am not finding much. What other forums are you talking about?

Yeah you listed some who and when but they're not DSM meets:beatentodeath:. SacForceFed is pretty much 3G's and NorCal AWD caters to the STI/EVO crowd. If I wanted non DSM meets I'd cruise up and down Sunrise.:notgood:

When and where are the meets for DSM's:dsm:?

hey enyone down for goen 2 sac state. im goen to a 8th civic and ill be taken pix if enyone wants to come and represent. ill be there the meet is around 730-8pm at sac state 3rd structure (the big ass one) top level.

WTF?

There are ZERO... I repeat ZERO 3G eclipses in SFF. One guy posted up but has never been to a meet. I'm not sure where you got that information but its so far from being correct that I almost thought you were being sarcastic.

NorCal AWD caters to no one.. it started off as a DSM meet, the iClub guys started meeting on the same day and with DSMs come Evos. The only reason there are so few DSMs is simply a mater of DSM guys not showing up.

And GL cruisin up and down Sunrise... you must be near stock to be able to do that..:tease:

Now if you are looking for a 100% strictly DSM meet, there isn't one unless you swoop by SMA when I have the DSM guys roll out there for me to work on their cars LOL.

After hearing about SMA loosing their License for selling Used parts as new parts I haven't been within a mile of that place and don't plan on it either. Think that was around 2004

If none of us are starting anything new then why isn't there a strictly DSM meet in the greater Sacramamento area. I mean isn't that the point of this thread.

We are just trying to get some DSM's together and hangout. After all we bought DSM's.

When I googled SacForceFed a misleading link direccted me to a forum for 3G's. My mistake. I found the right sight and am waiting for the forum registration to clear.

As for NorCalAwd googleing them led me to the iClub forums and from what is posted in there they have pretty much Evo's and STi's. Maybe you could step down from that pedastal and give a link to NorCalAWD.

It doesn't sound like there are any "DSM" meets in Sac anymore. I remember back when there was a Sac DSM site there were meets going on here and there. But it seems like it kind of faded away and morphed into something else.

This forum (and this thread in particular) seems to be the closest thing to a DSM forum dedicated to the Norcal DSMers. Maybe someone can take the lead and start organizing a small meet to kick things off? Maybe just get a few guys to go hang out at the drag strip one evening a month or something.

If we end up moving back to Norcal next summer or the summer after, as my wife and I have been discussing, we would likely be considering the Roseville area. Maybe if that happens I'll start trying to put together some track meet-ups. But don't wait for me, you guys go ahead and start planning something.

That's what I'm trying to do. lnlracer has shown interest and there is Black 2Gb GST a couple houses down from me that I am going to try and hook up with. Ever since TJ Albrecht passed away the meets died out. With a little help and a little luck maybe we can get organized again.

Ill be up at CMI sunday getting used to the new setup. I haven't even launched the 40R yet, so I'm sure there will be some bogging....or breakage.

I will also be showing at HIN saturday in pleasanton, hope to meet some of you guys there.
