Owner operator or employee?
What do you think broke? Cracked a ring?
You can get the stock converters restalled but I have no clue who even does that HahaGood news for me.
The dam is getting a fully rebuilt transmission hopefully by mid August.

.Dam man you should have messaged me I would of came down with my 1000 cca batteryYou must be logged in to view this image or video.Looks like some chunks of carbon got caught on the valve seat on both the valve and the head seat surfaces. Thats potentially why it wouldnt seal up.. go figure. Perhaps, if it were able to have started, it might have dislodged or the ol italian tuneup would have worked but it was cooked on both pretty good. Head cleaned up with a rag, valve was cleaned by scratching it off.. go figure.
So it seems a big enough chunk of carbon breaking away from insude the combustion chamber can wreak its own particular brand of havoc.
At the very least, to get it all working again..
parts:
TB gaskets
thermostat gaskets
head gasket
cam seals x2
exhaust and intake manifold gaskets
exhaust manifold to turbine housing gasket
upgraded valve springs + retainers
new headstuds
machine work:
head and all valves cleaned
valve seat and backface grind/lap
head deck refresh (minor resurface)
and then take a chance on seeing if i have good compression afterwards.
oh, and a new battery. after running it dead flat over a winter some time sgo and boiling it due to dead voltage regulator in alternator before i saturn swapped, it might just not have the juice.
the first compression tests alone drained it 25% i found.
perhaps, perhaps.
. Gotta see this thing on the road againHavent seen him in a minute but I'll see if I can message him for yaDoes anyone know how to get a hold of Davidaus on the forum here? He messaged me about the engines I have, but doesnt check the forums often.
Thanks,
Garret.
That's goodsigh, taking the chance. wife wants me to get it running again as well, who can argue with that?
dropped the head off for some minor work today
