Anybody running these tail lights?

Shoot, I could do all that for only $950.00

(But I won't)

Congrats Dave.
I'm talking in Canadian money though haha :D

Thats a little to many lights for me and way to expensive. I would love to mod them with stock lenses or maybe tint the red. I hoping they are dark to start off with but we will see. I hope the bulbs last a while!

Good LEDs are not cheap.
Good luck with the eBay tails.

Everyone says that Ebay lights aren't the best but I got some sick looking Halo's for my 2g Talon and they've worked great. These tail lights look as if they'd work fine. Don't jump the gun though, look around for some alternatives.

those sequential tail lights look like something that should be at HIN LOL
amazing work though.
i know that can't be easy work XD

I think I will do a review on them when they get here. But I can already tell you I wont be using the middle part. But I will post pics of it installed for you guys interested. I want them to look stock but with leds in a different patern then just buying led bulbs. They should be here on the 4th. Ill keep you posted.

Lots of opinios on these, but to each their own. Either way, Im looking forward to reading your review. Hope you document it vastly, with pictures if possible.

Personally, if I get these, I'd put the "ECLIPSE" logo back on without painting the center. Might have a modern factory look.

Thats how I wanna do it too! I will post a bunch of pictures with different center sections. If they ever show up LOL!

Ok just got the tail lights in. Now as far as these being LED tail lights they are not! They use the same bulbs out of your stock tail lights. The only difference is that it has a led ring that goes around the light. They wire up like the halo rings on projector headlights. They are a pretty dark red color though.

They forgot to mention in the ad that these are only LED rings and that you still need to use the same bulbs as before?

Convenient ommision on their part.

Very nice muddfisher, nice little review and thanks for being the guinea pig.

Im interested to see how they look installed now. I feel like even though they still use the stock bulb they might not look too bad. LED ring around the stock light might be decent looking, I'm sure the LED ring will burn out pretty quickly but who knows... I would probably run a bead of sealant around them because from my experience ebay headlights weren't sealed well, and I'd imaging the taillights will have a similar problem

Here's what I did with my tail lights. Not the same tail lights as what you have but they are legit LED's..and i put 6 coats of night shade on them (should have used like 4...but they are still super bright regardless)

I would actually do the opposite. Not using the LED's for the brake lights, Use the LED's for the parking lights. And the stock bulbs for the brake lights. They are what take up more voltage.

My Tails use the stock bulbs currently till I finish my clusters for the brake/signal

Nice, they are looking good. I had my suspitions the factory bulbs would have to be used. Cant wait to see them on the car! Get some pics with the brake lights on as well. Thanks.

I almost bought these two years ago, untill I looked at the photos and realized that they still used the stock bulbs. For the same pice I bought LED tail lights for my 06 ram 1500. Three years later I have only lost one row of lights on the drivers side the passenger side is fine except for the cracks in the lense from an accident (body shop refused to repace it)

A trillion times better than the ugly stock tail lights and those nasty 12v filliment bulbs.

I like this better, its like a modern update of the dodge, and audi cars that are coming out today.

My inspiration was the Audi cars.

Looks sexy, the tail light itself is darker now. Looks much more advanced. Goes well with the Bi Xenon HID/Projector retrofit. The rear end of the car is easily mistakable for the newer 2012 cars at night time till you get close to it.

I would pay a redonkulous amount of money for a set of led tails that mimic the new bodystyle chargers.

Those tails with the perimeter leds look really nice. Everyone has their style... I would maybe put some ambient light in the middle to fill it in some.

Yeah i would just stick with the "ugly" stock lights. Those things just look....not right on an eclipse. But i guess everybody has different taste.

I'm partial to the OEM look, but those look pretty cool. A lot better than the typical Altezza lights IMO. Why not just replace the LED's with higher quality ones? Just a thought.
