i used my friends just to see what my 1/4 mile time would be. said 15.2 at like 94.5 mph, thats minus a few mods from my list. seems pretty accurate. i like it.

I have the newer (better) one. I love it. I don't really tune from it as much as see how much better my time/power is with new mods.

.
seems like thats the point, use it to see if your "tuning" like with an AFC is actualy doing you any good ect...

thats what i figure i'll do with it anyway

Right. It's better for making comparisons with your own car, than trying to estimate quarter mile times.

One point to note, is it is very sensitive to elevation/wind changes. Be sure to make several runs BOTH ways down a road and average the runs. Doing that, I like mine as well.

I had planned on doing 3 runs and averaging (before and after)

plus that will give me more logs to make sure i did everything right.

I spoke with the manufactures they said the next firmware update will make it less sensitive to vertical movement

If you are using the horsepower function, roll into first smoothly and do a pull in like 2nd or so. An AWD launch tends to screw with the accellerometer a bit  :D
