I'm doing my first engine swap, bought a GSX shell and have been slowly putting the engine together, i'm a bit confused on this part of the wiring harness could just be a noob question ROFL

on the wiring harness that goes to the alternator there is 2 a wire with a small crimp on it, it looks like it may be a ground but its very small; does this go to the oil house filter or does it ground to the chasis?

i can't find any pictures and i'm not by the car atm (was hoping to find it online)
looks like this but the wire is black-

My first guess would be the OFH pressure sensor or dummy light. It could also be for the power steering idle-up switch (prong on top of pump).

We can't say for sure without pictures though. Who knows what electrical work the car had in the past.
