Just wanted to get this straight before i bought in, if we're running a stock 2g alternator we buy Part # AU961.20 and if we're running an Saturn alternator we buy

You are correct:

Stock 2g alternator is Part# AU961.20

Saturn alternator is Part# AU961.20GM

Unfortunately we have only seen deposits for 2 x AU961.20GM and 1 x AU961.20 and nothing else

Are we to assume that this group buy is dead in the water? We have received only a handful of deposits, which we will have to refund.

I’ve contacted all the voters for a 20% underdrive and 4 more going to make a deposit. Doubtful we’re gonna make 10 people. Can you do the run with like 6?

10 is the bare minimum we can do otherwise price starts to skyrocket as it takes too much time to setup the machines, prove out the programs and run the parts for so few pieces.

Maybe one of the other supporting forum vendors is interested in taking the project on and having Exclusive distribution rights for these pulleys. We could then make the UR pulleys for them to stock and resell, we do that quite a bit with our tuning shop partners all over the world. A great example is this will be happening for our Subaru pulley program.

I have no idea how to make that happen. So I take it the PS and water pulleys won’t happen either. People should only be allowed to vote if they’re actually gonna order. Grrrrr

We have reached out to the forum admins to see if anything can be done. Some lobbying of other forum shops by interested members would be a great idea at this point.

Believe us we are as frustrated as you because these would be great high quality parts for the membership. We've also invested quite some time in manpower in drawings and correspondence not to mention those who have supported with technical info and a certain self-less member who sent parts to us for re/measurement.

Anything I can do to help please let me know. Everyone I’ve talked to said unorthodox pulleys are by far the best. You have my Deposits for alt, ps, and water pulleys so let’s hope the rest get on board too.

I put a my deposit in on the 20% alternator pulley. I have to be honest though your group buy threads are not clear. All the first post shows is the poll and the pricing schedules for the different quantities. After voting I had no idea I was supposed to go to your website to complete the purchased. There are not any instructions on where to go at the beginning.

Even after I just got a PM from Ludachris about my vote in this thread I had to search through the thread to find out what I was supposed to do.

I would edit the first post with a link to your site with the 3 alternator pulley options that are available on there. You could also list out the number of deposits you currently have like the other group buys on here.

I'm sure it will gain you more deposits.

I am no longer interested with how things played out and how long this GB took to even gain interest with so many deadline changes and different options. I just went with the kiggly pulley and had it bored out. In the end it ended up being pretty much the same price as the group buy, belt included.

I feel like this group buy should have only had one option and taken deposits right away instead of waiting.
